and Conditions of Sale
By placing your order you
accept the following Terms and Conditions:
1. Pricing
Our products and prices are subject to change. Whilst we will try to ensure
that prices on the website are accurate, we are not responsible for errors that
may occur. If we discover any errors in the price of goods before we accept
your order, we will notify you as soon as possible and give you the option to
resubmit your order at the correct price or cancel the order. The price of all
goods and services advertised are inclusive of VAT. All our prices are shown
in British pounds.
2. Availability
All goods and services are subject to availability. In the event of any item
being discontinued or unobtainable from our suppliers we will contact you for
your instructions.
3. Shipping & Delivery
UK/Ireland online orders:
Shipping Charge - £5.00* Allow 1-2 weeks for delivery.
*NB. All online orders will be processed at the checkout with a shipping charge
of £5 total which covers postage, packaging and insurance costs. This charge
will apply to the majority of orders however the amount for some orders may
be more depending on number of items ordered, the weight or value of the order
and your location. If this occurs you will be advised by email before any payment
is taken and we will await your approval before proceeding with the order. You
may email us in advance if you wish to query your p&p in advance.
Europe/International online orders:
Shipping Charge - £15.00* Allow 2-4 weeks days for delivery.
*NB. All online orders will be processed at the checkout with a shipping charge
of £15 total which covers postage, packaging and insurance costs. This charge
will apply to the majority of orders however the amount for some orders may
be more depending on number of items ordered, the weight or value of the order
and your location. If this occurs you will be advised by email before any payment
is taken and we will await your approval before proceeding with the order. You
may email us in advance if you wish to query your p&p in advance.
For all debit/credit card purchases delivery can only be made to the cardholder's
address. Please note all customers will be advised of dress delivery times at
point of ordering. Delivery times can never be exact however in the unlikely
event that items shall take longer than expected, you will be notified. Should
you need any items urgently please contact staff to discuss.
4. Ordering
We can accept the following payment cards: Visa debit/credit card,
Mastercard, UK Maestro, Solo, Maestro, JCB, Electron and Debit Mastercard.
To order goods through this website you must be at least 18 years of age. Any
email or other electronic acknowledgement by us of receipt of an order placed
by you does not constitute legal acceptance by Stanfield Bridal of your order.
All orders are subject to approval by us. When processing your order, the information
provided will be subject to credit and fraud prevention checks. For these purposes
we may transfer your information to trusted third parties.
5. Collection
If you are collecting from our premises you must bring along the credit card
or debit card that payment was made with, along with two forms of identification
with addresses - Utility bills, passport, driving license etc.
6. Returns and Refunds Policies
ONLINE RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY
Please note, NO REFUND will be given on new "made to order" dresses ordered
from our suppliers. Shoes can only be exchanged if they are faulty. Personalised
jewellery and stationery are "made to order" and are NON-REFUNDABLE. In the
case of any goods which arrive faulty or damaged, you should contact Stanfield
Bridal within 10 days and you will be entitled to a replacement or a full refund,
if it is agreed that the item(s) are faulty or damaged. All goods must be returned
unused in their original state and in original packaging. See "Contact " page
for address details. There is no refund or exchange on "Sale" or "Off the Peg"
items.
IN STORE RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY
Please note, NO REFUND will be given on new "made to order" dresses ordered
from our suppliers. Shoes can only be exchanged if they are faulty. Personalised
jewellery and stationery are "made to order" and are NON-REFUNDABLE. In the
case of any goods, which upon inspection in store, are discovered to be faulty
or damaged, a replacement or full refund will be offered, if it is agreed that
the goods are faulty or damaged. There is no refund or exchange on "Sale" or
"Off the Peg" items, so Stanfield Bridal advises the customer to complete a
full inspection before purchasing. On "made to order" items that have been purchased
Stanfield Bridal advises the customer to thoroughly inspect the goods before
leaving the premises, as we accept no responsibility or liability once items
have left our care. Refunds will not be offered on faulty goods after they have
been removed from the premises. Each customer will be required to sign an "Agreement
of Sale" upon collection of goods.
7. Security
All debit/credit card details are collected via a secured server using 128 bit
encrypted Secure Socket Layer (SSL) communications. While all reasonable care
is taken to protect the confidentiality of your debit/credit card details Stanfield
Bridal cannot be liable if, through no fault of its own, these details are intercepted
by and used by third parties. We are committed to protecting your privacy. We
will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully in accordance
with the Data Protection Act 1998. We collect information about you for 2 reasons:
firstly, to process your order and secondly, to provide you with the best possible
service. We will not pass your email address to anyone else.
8. Ordering by phone
If you prefer not to order online via debit/credit card you may phone in your
order and payment instead.
